Transports

Just a remark. Even if we go to the lake of Como,
the closest city to the Hotel Villa Giulia is Lecco and not Como
(give a look to the map !!)

To go to Lecco from Nice.

By car , it takes around 5 hours maximum
You have first to reach Milan and then continue for Lecco.
The file total.jpg contains the complete road from Nice to Lecco. The way is then detailed in the zoomed maps that follow.
tav32g.jpg : from Nice, take the A8, direction Genova.
tav28.jpg : after the border at Ventimiglia, A8 becomes A10. Continue A10 up to Voltri where you take the A26 for Alessandria.
tav22.jpg : later on from the A26 take the deviation for the A7, direction Milano.
tav39g.jpg : at the barrier of Milano, take the direction "Linate airport" on the "tangenziale est".
tav39d.jpg : continue on the tangenziale est until Sesto S. Giovanni, then get out and at the round-point take the SS 36 direction Erba/Lecco
tav41.jpg : go on the SS 36 and get out at Valmadrera, the exit before Lecco.
tav43.jpg : Paré is the locality of the Hotel Villa Giulia and follow the direction to the Hotel.

By train , it takes 5 + 1/2 hours up to Milan and then around 1 hour from Milan to Lecco.
