Dynamics of passive and active particles: transport and collective phenomena

5-6 December 2013

Laboratoire J.-A. Dieudonné

Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis

The physics of either driven by a flow or actively moving particles is a fascinating topic from both, theoretical and experimental point of view. Application range from microtubuli driven by molecular motors, bacteria in suspension and gliding on surfaces, to passive flows with suspension of passive objects.
