Il existe plusieurs types de bourses de master :

 Bourses de deuxième année de Master 2024-2025 du laboratoire J.-A. Dieudonné / Master 2 Scholarships of J.-A. Dieudonné laboratory for the 2024-2025 academic year

Le laboratoire J.-A. Dieudonné avec le soutien du laboratoire Euro-Maghrébin de mathématiques et de leurs Interactions (lem2i) offrent des bourses de deuxième année de Master. Ces bourses sont destinées à renforcer l'orientation internationale du Master 2 Recherche (M2 MFA). 

Ces bourses au mérite couvrent l’année universitaire 2024-2025.  Leur montant est de 1000 euros par mois pendant 10 mois (septembre à juin) et inclut les gratifications de stage. Les étudiants extra-communautaires récipiendaires de cette bourse pourront prétendre à une exonération partielle des droits d’inscription différentiés.

Sont éligibles à ces bourses de Master 2 au mérite tout étudiant diplômé d’une université française (autre qu’Université Côte d’Azur) ou étrangère à un niveau équivalent à celui du Master 1 et s’inscrivant pour la première fois en Master 2. Il n’y a pas de limite d’âge ni de condition de nationalité pour accéder à cette bourse.

 

Lancement de l’appel : lundi 22 janvier 2024.

Clôture de l’appel : dimanche 3 Mars 2024.

Notification d’attribution des bourses aux candidats : au plus tard le 29 mars 2024.

Date limite d’acceptation de la bourse par les candidats : au plus tard le 8 avril 2024.

Date limite d’inscription en Master 2 : le 1er juillet 2024.

 

Pour candidater, un dossier de candidature dématérialisé sous forme d'un fichier “zip” UNIQUE devra être envoyé par mail à l'adresse boursemaster@unice.fr avant le DIMANCHE 3 MARS 2024 et devra contenir :

 

1. Un Curriculum Vitae d'un maximum de deux pages.

 

2. Une lettre de motivation faisant notamment apparaître en quoi le choix de la formation répond à un projet personnel et professionnel de l'étudiant, et qui devra préciser également le choix thématique d'un bloc du Master 2 MFA, dans lequel l’étudiant s’inscrira (suivre des cours de différents blocs est aussi possible). Les trois blocs offerts sont : Algèbre, Géométrie et dynamique, Analyse et Calcul Scientifique, Probabilités et Statistiques. Ces blocs sont détaillés sur le site de la deuxième année de Master. Un projet doctoral de l’étudiant faisant apparaître son rattachement aux thématiques de recherche du laboratoire J.-A. Dieudonné est un atout.

 

3. Le programme (dans les grandes lignes) des cours suivis en 2023-2024 ainsi que les relevés de notes et les rangs des années de Licence et de Master 1 (traduits en anglais ou en français pour les étrangers). Pour les diplômes étrangers, des explications sur l'échelle des notes seront appréciées.

 

4. Les coordonnées du dernier responsable de formation et d'un autre professeur du candidat, qui pourront être contactés pour une lettre de recommandation.

 

5. Une copie du passeport.

 

AUCUNE lettre de recommandation ne doit être jointe au dossier, les professeurs seront directement contactés par le laboratoire J.A. Dieudonné.

 

Les dossiers des candidats seront évalués selon les critères suivants :

• L’excellence du candidat telle qu'elle ressort de son parcours universitaire antérieur. Le candidat doit avoir démontré des performances académiques d'un niveau particulièrement élevé ;

• La motivation de l’étudiant et l’adéquation de son profil avec les exigences en matière de recherche et d’innovation du Master MFA du laboratoire J.-A. Dieudonné.

 

IMPORTANT: Pour les candidats étrangers il est souvent obligatoire de suivre la procédure Campus France pour obtenir un visa. La date limite pour l'ouverture d'un dossier CampusFrance dépend du pays d'origine et peut parfois précéder la date limite de cet appel d'offres. Bourses d’excellence de l’EUR SPECTRUM :

L’école SPECTRUM (SCIENCES FONDAMENTALES ET INGENIERIE) financera, pour l’année universitaire 2024-2025, des bourses annuelles d’excellence pour les meilleur.e.s étudiant.e.s qui souhaiteraient rejoindre l’un de ses mastersriches en connaissances théoriques et en applications pratiques autour des mathématiques, de la physique, de l’astrophysique, des sciences de la Terre, de la chimie et de l’ingénierie. Ces bourses sont en priorité ouvertes aux candidatures à l’international.

 

L’appel à candidatures se clôturera le 5 Mai 2024. Ces bourses au mérite couvrent l’année universitaire 2024-2025.

There are different types of scholarships for our master:

The J.A. Dieudonné laboratory with the support of the Euro-Maghreb Laboratory of Mathematics and Its Interactions (Lem2i) will offer scholarships for the second year of the Master degree. The amount is 1000 euros per month for the 10 months of the academic year 2024-2025 (September through June), for a total of 10'000 euros. The goal of these scholarships is to reinforce the international orientation of the Master 2 Research (M2 MFA). Foreign recipients of that scholarship will have their tuition fees partially waived.

 

These scholarships are open to any student with a Master1 degree of any university in the world except for Université Côte d'Azur in Nice and who have never been enrolled in an M2 diploma. The selection is made on the basis of academic merit and there are no citizenship or age restrictions.

 

Call opening: Monday January 22nd, 2024.

Call closes: Sunday March 3rd, 2024.

Notification of scholarship attribution: at the latest March 29th, 2024.

Deadline for scholarship acceptance for the candidates: April 8th, 2024.

Deadline to register in the Master 2: July 1st, 2024.

 

Applications have to be submitted electronically, with A SINGLE zipped pdf-file to be sent via e-mail to boursemaster@unice.fr  before SUNDAY MARCH 3rd, 2024 and has to be composed of:

 

1. A Curriculum Vitae of two pages maximum.

 

2. A cover letter, explaining how the applicant's choice of study corresponds to a professional and personal project, including the choice of a bloc in the Master 2 MFA, for which the student will register (it is possible to take courses of different blocs). The three blocs offered are : Algebra and Geometry, Analysis, Probability and Statistics. The program for these blocs are on the website of the Master 2 (lien : https://univ-cotedazur.fr/formation/offre-de-formation/mathematiques-pures-et-appliquees-mpa). A doctoral project in the themes of the lab J.- A. Dieudonné would be a plus.

 

3. The (summary of the) program of the courses followed in 2023-2024, along with transcripts with grades and ranks for the Bachelor and Master1 (translated in English or French for foreign students). For foreign diplomas, a word of explanation on the grade system will be appreciated.

 

4. The e-mail of the last Master 1 coordinator in the applicant's institution, as well the e-mail of at least another professor who can be contacted to provide a recommendation letter.

5. A copy of the candidate's passport.

NO recommendation letter should be joined to the file, we will contact the recommenders directly so make sure that they have been warned.

 

The applicants' files will be evaluated on the following criteria:

-- The academic excellence of the candidate. A successful candidate will have demonstrated outstanding academic performances.

-- The motivation of the candidate, and the adequacy of its profile with the research and innovation standards of the Master MPA of the J.-A. Dieudonné laboratory.

 

IMPORTANT: For foreign applicants it is very often compulsory to follow the Campus France student visa procedure. The deadline for starting a Campusfrance application depends on the country of origin and can be before the deadline for the scholarship application. MASTER'S LEVEL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS of the EUR SPECTRUM:

 

Formal, Physical and Engineering Graduate School and Research (also called SPECTRUM Graduate School) offers

merit-based scholarships awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year. Each scholarship amounts to 1,000 euros per month for 10 months (September to June). The call for applications is aimed at any student with a French

or foreign university degree.

Deadline for submitting applications: May 5, 2024.
