Title: A dynamic packet-based approach for traffic flow simulation and dynamic traffic assignment

This work aims to model and simulate traffic flow propagation in road/multimodal network based on Lagrangian discretisation scheme. This method provides a fast and realistic approximation of traffic flow trajectories conforming to LWR model. The packet-based approach results in significant computational gains. It is compatible with the Lagrangian approach for the car mode, and it is also compatible with public transport modes. Some applications to dynamic traffic assignment will be presented.
